Erosion Control Application and Permit Process:
- Owner or agent files application with erosion control plan. Fees are indicated on the form
- Staff reviews the application and erosion control plan following the Standard Specifications for Land Development.
- Staff advises applicant of plan approval or modifications required to gain plan approval.
- Prior to earth moving activity the applicant/owner shall install erosion control measures and contact the City for inspection.
- Engineering Department inspects the installation for compliance with the Ordinances and approved plan. (See Section 58-671/677)
- Erosion control permit is issued.
- Staff will conduct periodic inspections.
- Permittee will submit Termination Notice once final site stabilization has been achieved.
- Staff will conduct a site review to determine compliance.
