Erosion Control Permit

Erosion Control Application and Permit Process:

  1. Owner or agent files application with erosion control plan. Fees are indicated on the form
  2. Staff reviews the application and erosion control plan following the Standard Specifications for Land Development
  3. Staff advises applicant of plan approval or modifications required to gain plan approval.
  4. Prior to earth moving activity the applicant/owner shall install erosion control measures and contact the City for inspection.
  5. Engineering Department inspects the installation for compliance with the Ordinances and approved plan. (See Section 58-671/677)
  6. Erosion control permit is issued.
  7. Staff will conduct periodic inspections.
  8. Permittee will submit Termination Notice once final site stabilization has been achieved. 
  9. Staff will conduct a site review to determine compliance.
