To improve your search results for specific phrases, enclose your search phrase in double quotations.  The search for “example phrase” will narrow your results down to better match the phrase you are searching for.

Yes.   You can exclude words by using the minus sign (-).   To find the pages containing the phrase ‘example word’ but not the word ‘other’, in the search bar type:  example word -other

No.  The results will show all pages with variations of the root words in your search ‘example word’ such as word, words, worded, and wording.

Yes.  To search for pages or documents containing words beginning with the letters ‘wor’, in the search bar type:  wor*

Yes.  To search for pages and documents that contain the phrase ‘example word’ and the phrase ‘other example word’ in the search bar type:  Example word and other example word
