Mequon Road & OIT Crossing Improvements Project Underway

Project Limits

The Mequon Road-Ozaukee Interurban Trail Improvement Project began April 24, 2023, and will conclude in October 2023. 

• The project includes roadway and streetscape improvements of Mequon Road (WI -167) from North Buntrock Avenue to North Cedarburg Road.

• Mequon Road will be open to traffic, but will be narrowed to one (1) lane of traffic in both directions at times.

• Access to all properties will be provided throughout the project duration.

Included in the project is lane narrowing, traffic signal installation at Weston Drive., traffic signal replacement at Buntrock Avenue, median and street light improvements and replacements, and improvements to both the Ozaukee Interurban Trail (OIT) crossing and streetscape along Mequon Road through the project corridor.
