Brian Sajdak

Brian C. Sajdak serves the City of Mequon as the City Attorney. He was appointed to the office of City Attorney commencing in October 2014. As a part-time City Attorney, Brian is responsible for all of the City’s legal work including advising the Common Council and City departments and drafting ordinances and other legal documents. Brian is a member of Wesolowski, Reidenbach & Sajdak, S.C., a municipal law firm based in Franklin, Wisconsin, where he serves as municipal counsel to multiple southeast Wisconsin municipalities in addition to the City of Mequon.

Having earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Juris Doctorate degree from Marquette University Law School, Brian brings over 12 years of municipal-specific legal experience to the City. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin where he is completing his second term on the Board of Directors of the Bar’s Administrative and Local Government Law Section, a tenure that included being elected to serve as the President of the Board.  Brian is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin. In addition, Brian has completed numerous FEMA Emergency Management Institute courses and is a licensed amateur radio operator.
