Election Inspector (Poll Worker) Information

Please view the application link below for more details regarding poll worker expectations and duties.  Once an application is received, you will be contacted for training when the need for volunteers arises.  There is currently a volunteer waitlist for the City of Mequon, but we invite everyone and anyone to apply! 

General Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen, resident of Ozaukee County,  at least 18 years of age, not currently serving a sentence including probation or parole for a felony conviction, and not otherwise disqualified from voting. 

High School Students:
In order to serve as an election inspector, the student must be 16 or 17 years of age, enrolled in grades 9 to 12 in a public or private school, and have at least a 3.0 grade point average or equivalent. The municipal clerk may not require the student to serve at all elections. S.7.30(2), (am), Stats.
