This work is anticipated to last three weeks. The project is on schedule to be completed by 2/01/2022. For the duration of the project, there will be a temporary access road for construction access on both sides of the interstate.  For more detailed information on both projects, please visit the project page on the City website

Mequon Cares Program Available to All Residents
The Mequon Cares Program is designed to assist Mequon residents who live alone and who are not in daily contact with relatives or friends. Every day between 8:00 A.M. and noon, participants call the Mequon Police Department using the non-emergency phone number.  If the participant forgets to call, a dispatcher will attempt to reach them by telephone. If the dispatcher does not receive an answer, the dispatcher will send a police officer to check on the resident’s well-being. The service is free and confidential for any resident of the City. To enroll, please click here or call the Police Department at (262) 242-3500 to register.

Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser on December 11
Relieve some holiday hassle and leave the gift wrapping to the Mequon Police Department for their fifth annual holiday gift wrapping fundraiser. No item is too big or too small for the skilled wrappers! This event takes place on Saturday, December 11, 2021, between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M in the lower level of the Mequon Public Safety Building, 11300 N. Buntrock Avenue. Donations for wrapping will benefit the Advocates of Ozaukee, a shelter and resource organization for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence.  This year, there will be a meet-and-greet with Mequon Police K-9 Officer Djuke and his handler, Officer Bottoni, and residents can have a fun holiday picture taken with them.  There will be a K-9 demonstration for the public at the top of every hour in the parking lot.  This event is family-friendly with arts and crafts for kids and light refreshments.
