Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project Information Meetings Next Week
Community members are invited to Public Information Meetings for the East Trunk Sewer construction project on Wednesday, May 23, from 6 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. at City Hall, and again Wednesday, June 6 from 6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. at City Hall. This project addresses sanitary sewer overflows and compliance requirements. The construction includes a new wet weather relief sewer from County Line Road to Donges Bay Road. The City has a contract with Minger Construction to build the sewers. The meetings will be informal open house style meetings that allow attendees to stop in anytime to meet with project staff. Large-scale exhibits will be available that show the construction work beginning this spring. Community Pool on Track for June Opening
The pool is scheduled for a soft opening from 12:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on June 2 and 3. The pool will be closed the following week and reopen for the season at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, June 9. Pool passes are being sold at the Bath House every day from 10:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. Please click here to view more details.

Railroad Work to be completed South of Mequon Causing Road Closure
Wisconsin Central Ltd. (Canadian National Railway), is performing maintenance work on their railroad crossing located on Brown Deer Road (WIS 100) between Deerbrook Trail and Arbon Drive. To complete this work, crews require a full closure of Brown Deer Road at the crossing from Monday, May 21 until mid-day Friday, May 25. Please note that this closure is weather dependent and subject to change. An official detour will be posted using 76th Street (WIS 181), Good Hope Road (County PP) and Green Bay Road (WIS 57). I-43 Bridges Scheduled to Receive Improvements from the State
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation held a Public Information Meeting on the I-43 Bridges Rehabilitation Project on Thursday, May 17.  The project includes resurfacing and rehabilitation of the County Line Road Bridge and the Port Washington Bridge over I-43.  Construction could begin as early as spring of 2019, and would take about 5 months to complete.  The WisDOT team provided a handout to attendees with contact information and a feedback form, which is attached to today’s bulletin.
