Special Finance – Personnel Committee Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, September 6
There will be a special meeting of the Finance – Personnel Committee at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 5, to approve a last-minute liquor license needed for a vendor that will be at the Taste of Mequon on Saturday, September 8.

Community Pool Closes for the Season this Sunday, August 26
The City of Mequon’s outdoor Community Pool will be closing for the season this weekend. Assuming good weather, the Community Pool will close after its normal hours of 12:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 26. Thank you to all who enjoyed the Community Pool this year!

Mid-Moraine Municipal Court Issues June 2018 Financial Summary
According to the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court’s latest financial summary, the City of Mequon has seen a total of 183 citations processed as of June 30, which is almost 14% more than the same point in 2017. In turn, the citations processed as of the end of June have resulted in $4,462 in fines paid to the City. That is just over a 6% increase for June 30, 2017. Soil Health Workshop Scheduled for Friday, September 7
Milwaukee River Watershed Clean Farm Families will be hosting a soil health workshop with Ray Archuleta, a nationally renowned soil health expert. The event will be from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 7, at W2828 Meadowlark Road, Fredonia. Field Representatives perform a variety of vital functions, such as updating address lists and maps; conducting interviews with residents in assigned areas; explaining the purpose of the census interview; and answering residents' questions.
