In accordance with State requirements, the City of Mequon provides notice of zoning amendments that are scheduled for consideration before the Common Council. Below is a listing of all zoning amendments scheduled for first and second readings at the Common Council's 7:30 P.M. meeting on Tuesday May 14, 2024.  First Reading Notice

There are no First Readings for the May 14th meeting.

NOTE: First readings of Ordinances will not be acted upon unless a suspension of the rules is approved by a recorded vote of two-thirds majority of all aldermen.

 

Second Reading Notice

ORDINANCE 2024-1661 - An Ordinance Amending Chapter 58 of the Mequon Municipal Code, in Connection with Clarifying Certain Definitions, Design Standards and Location Standards for Residential Development within the City's Town Center and Arrival Corridor Zoning Districts; Recommended by Planning Commission March 18, 2024; Further Recommendation Forthcoming by Committee of the Whole May 14, 2024; First Reading at Common Council April 9, 2024. 

ORDINANCE 2024-1662 - An Ordinance Repealing and Recreating Article XI within Chapter 58 of the Mequon Municipal Code, as it Relates to Floodplain Zoning; Recommended by Planning Commission March 18, 2024; Further Recommendation Forthcoming by Public Welfare May 14, 2024: First Reading at Common Council April 9, 2024. 

NOTE: Second Reading of Ordinances will be acted upon unless deferred by the aldermen.
