Planning Commission Information

The Planning Commission handles requests for: Rezoning, Conditional Use Grants, Building and Site Plans, Consultations for new residential or commercial projects, Accessory Structures, Specimen Tree Removal, Sign Waiver, Master Sign Plan, Setback Waiver, Fill Permit, Preliminary and Final Plat, Development Agreement and Certified Survey Map.

•    Applicants should meet with Community Development and Engineering staff to review and discuss the concept proposal, zoning regulations and Planning Commission process.
• Applications are typically due one month prior to the scheduled meeting for proposal approval.
• Complete all Planning Commission Application Checklist items (Planning Commission Application Packet) and submit application and fee to the Community Development staff.
• If application is complete, staff will schedule the proposal for the next available Planning Commission meeting.
• The Planning Commission meetings are typically the fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
