2035 Comprehensive Plan for the City of Mequon

Long Range Planning:  Assist in creating and amending the City’s Comprehensive Plan. (i.e., Land Use Plan; Transportation Plan; Environmental Plan; Recreation & Open Space Plan; and Economic Development Plan)

Short Term Planning: Review, analyze, and report on development proposals within the City.

Policy Analysis: Research and analyze alternative City policy initiatives relative to land use issues.

Zoning Code Administration: Draft and analyze Land Use Regulations that reflect evolving City policy on development and redevelopment matters, and disseminate and interpret Zoning Code Regulations.

Zoning Enforcement: Administer and enforce Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional zoning violations. Please email

Landmarks Administration: Administer Landmarks Ordinance and City’s Landmark Commission.

GIS Administration: Administer and manage the City’s evolving Geographic Information System program.

Economic Development Administration: Administer the City’s Economic Development Board and Revolving Loan Fund Program.
