COVID-19 Update for the Week Ending Friday, September 25
The City of Mequon, in coordination with the Washington/Ozaukee Public Health Department and other state and federal agencies, continues to monitor the spread of COVID-19.

  • As of this afternoon, the State has had 110,828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1,274  associated deaths. Of the cases in Wisconsin, 1,323 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 19 related deaths have been in Ozaukee County, based on information from the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department (WOPHD).
  • Gov. Tony Evers issued a new public health emergency on Tuesday, September 22, extending the statewide mask mandate requiring face coverings indoors and in enclosed spaces, with some exceptions,  for individuals 5 years of age and older until Wednesday, November 21.
  • The CDC released COVID-19 guidance for holiday celebrations including Halloween, Diá de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and Thanksgiving.

FY2021 Proposed Budget Available Online
The City’s proposed 2021 proposed budget is now available online.  Please click here to review the proposed budget. The Mequon Common Council, in its role as the City’s Appropriations Committee, will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6 to review the 2021 proposed budget.
