2021 Road Program Releases Pavement Ratings
The 2021 Road Program contract has been completed.  Westchester Lakes, River Lake, River Estates, and Hidden Farm subdivisions, along with Martin Way and Highland Road (Cedarburg Road to Green Bay Road) were successfully repaved as part of the 2021 Road Program.  Engineering Division staff will be collecting information to generate a summary of the project contract, results, and overall performance which will be presented to the Public Works Committee at an upcoming meeting after final items and payments are complete. Current mapping and a financial summary will also be provided to the Public Works Committee.

The 2021 average Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) surface condition rating in Mequon is a 6.7. The PASER system rates each segment on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the worst condition, and 10 being the best condition (new pavement).  The average surface condition rating for the City roads has been relatively steady, with moderate increases over the last decade. A breakdown of PASER ratings by milage in the City is shown on the attached graph. There are approximately 213 miles of roadway that the City is responsible to maintain.
