Special Election to be Held for District 8
The Common Council has called a special election for residents in District 8 to choose an alderman.  The election will be held on January 10, 2023, and if a primary is needed, it will occur on December 13, 2022.  This vacancy occurred when the incumbent alderman, Andrew Nerbun, ran and was successful in his election as City of Mequon Mayor.   District 8 encompasses the southeast corner of Mequon, and you can find a map here.   The chosen candidate will complete the current three-year term, which ends in April 2024.

Nomination papers can be circulated beginning on October 28 and 20 - 40 nomination signatures are needed along with campaign finance reports. The deadline to file all necessary forms is November 15 at 5:00 P.M. in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.
