Early Absentee Voting Continues Next Week
In-person absentee voting began this past Tuesday and will continue through next Friday, April 1, at City Hall in the City Clerk’s Office.  Dates and times for absentee voting are March 28 – March 31 from 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. and Friday, April 1 from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Brush Permits Available for Purchase
Brush permits for 2022 are available for purchase. The brush site is open Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning April 2 through November 30. Brush site permits are available for $25, in addition to burn permits for $20, with cash or check in the Finance Department at City Hall. A driver's license is needed to complete the purchase. Residents may also purchase a permit with a credit card by clicking here. If residents purchase a brush site permit online, they must then print their confirmation page and bring it with them when visiting the brush site.  The brush site is located at 6000 W. Bonniwell Road. 

Annual Dog License Renewal Through March 31
All dogs in the City are required to be licensed annually. To renew or attain a new license, please visit the Finance Department at City Hall. A current rabies immunization statement from a veterinarian must be on file or accompany payment to receive a license. The Finance Department accepts checks or cash only. The fees are $15 for a non-neutered male or unspayed female and $10 for a neutered male or spayed female.  A $5 late charge fee will be applied for dogs licensed after March 31.

Wisconsin Help for Homeowners
The pandemic has financially impacted thousands of Wisconsin families.  Wisconsin Help for Homeowners is a new statewide program that can help with overdue bills such as mortgage payments, property taxes, and utilities.  Homeowners can learn more about the program and eligibility requirements here.

Seeds for the Garden Being Offered by MATC
The Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) Mequon’s Seed Library is open for its fifth season.  It is a collaboration between the MATC Landscape Horticulture Program and the MATC Mequon Campus Library.  They are offering five free mini seed packets per household, with new seed varieties added throughout each week until early May.  Click here for more information.
