Mequon River Postal Museum Open on Thursdays
The Mequon River Postal Museum is located in the 1839 Isham Day House directly opposite Mequon’s City Hall and is open on Thursdays from 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. during the summer months.  This historic building houses a wealth of information about the earliest leaders who served as the community’s post masters and was the community’s hub of business and political life in the pre-Civil War years. Today, it is a great place to learn about the earliest days of the Town of Mequon and appreciate the quality of the leadership who formed our community. It’s also an opportunity for philatelists to talk stamps with the museum’s founder and curator, Sam Cutler.  Please call (262) 242-3107 or email mthistory1839@gmail.com for additional information.
