2019 Road Improvement Program Achieves Success
The Annual Road Program addresses both road reconstruction/rehabilitation and road maintenance. In 2019, Cedarburg Road and Freistadt Road were reconstructed, 52 miles of roadway were crack sealed, and 14.1 miles of roadway were treated with GSB-88 sealant.  Cedarburg Road improvements included 2.32 miles of pavement milling and removal, removing culverts and guardrail, grading and compacting; asphalt paving both lower and upper layers and shouldering.  Freistadt Road included 0.77 miles of asphalt pavement pulverizing and asphalt paving lower and upper layers. Donges Bay Road construction was delayed to 2020 due to the staging for the East Trunk sewer project.
