Public Works Department Summer Hours End Next Week
The summer hours for the Department of Public Works will end next Friday, October 12. While “summer” ends for many of us before mid-October, the modified work hours allow Department staff to take advantage of extended daylight, lower heat indices, reduced traffic flow and increased efficiencies relative to larger scale projects. As operations turn to restoration, tree removal and winter snow removal, so comes the resumption of normal hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

State of Wisconsin Issues 2018 Great Lakes Chronicle
The City recently received the attached letter from Secretary Ellen Nowak of the Wisconsin Department of Administration, announcing the newest issue of the Wisconsin Great Lakes Chronicle. The 2018 edition is the 17th issue published by the State. The Chronicle provides information on public policy, highlights projects to protect, preserve and restore water resources and coastal areas, and creates a historical record of events and perspectives. Please see Secretary Nowak’s attached letter for more information and click here to view the 2018 Wisconsin Great Lakes Chronicle.
