Passing of Dedicated Police Reserve Lieutenant
It is with great sadness that the City shares the news of the passing Lieutenant Donald J. Steep of the Mequon Police Reserves. Donald Steep, a 50 year veteran of the Reserves, has always exercised the responsibilities of his position with the highest degree of professionalism since starting as a reserve officer on September 30, 1968. His service was always above and beyond expectation, and he will be missed. On behalf of the entire City, we extend our deepest sympathy to Donald’s family and friends.

City Earns Governmental Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Award

The budget document must be rated "proficient" in all four categories, and in the fourteen mandatory criteria within those categories, to receive the award. See the attached letter from GFOA for further details.
