Audio Video (AV) Upgrades Underway in Common Council Chambers
City staff, with the assistance of consultants, are in the process of upgrading the video recording and broadcasting equipment in the Common Council Chambers. The upgrades are replacing the City’s aged equipment and replacing the video equipment that belonged to the City’s former long-term AV contract employee, Mike Gross who has retired. The City extends a grateful thank you to Mr. Gross for 27 years of service and wishes him the best.

Furthermore, the upgrades being implemented will allow the City to remove unneeded components from the audio system and recalibrate the sound to attain a higher quality broadcast.  City staff will have the new equipment installed before the April meetings of the Planning Commission and Common Council. Going forward, City staff will also be working to improve the production process and to ensure quality video and audio recordings are available for all broadcasted meetings.
