Sewer Maintenance Worker

Position Overview
This full-time position provides routine maintenance for the City’s sanitary sewer system and lift stations. The Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Division provides 24 hours a day seven days a week service, which can include responses to backups and overflows through the City’s service area. This position performs weekly checks on equipment, cleans sewer systems with a jet-vac, performs basic ground maintenance, and other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

1. Knowledge of general sewer line maintenance and confined space entry procedures.
2. Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within six months of hire.

Current Salary:
The starting salary is $47,424. Salary range is $47,242 - $64,162. Excellent benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, continued education, and Wisconsin Retirement System.
